Ever since the murder of Charlie Kirk, people have speculated almost exclusively about the political ideology of the assassin, while paying little attention to his psychological profile which is no less important.

There are also many conspiracy theories surrounding the murder, including outright refusal to believe the evidence that it was in fact Tyler Robinson who assassinated Charlie Kirk. In this article, I will rely on the evidence released to the public by the authorities, online research, along with Tyler Robinson’s body language and behavioral history, to build his profile. However, I don’t rule out the possibility of eventually delving into the popular conspiracy theories surrounding Charlie’s murder.

It is important to note that Tyler Robinson came from a very conservative Mormon family, yet according to friends and the Utah Governor, he was the only leftist member of the family and had been radicalizing in the recent years. In other words, both he and his family were highly ideological, though in opposite directions — a pattern often associated with higher intelligence.

Furthermore, Tyler Robinson graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and a 34 on the ACT, equivalent to scoring more than two standard deviations above the IQ mean, in the top 98–99th percentile.

You could certainly make the case that his high IQ explains both the flawless execution of the murder by aiming directly for the artery and his ability to initially evade the police.

He was enrolled in Utah State University but for unknown reasons, he dropped out after the first semester.

Like many intelligent people, Tyler Robinson was shy, awkward, and secretive about his intentions. Tyler Robinson’s grandmother describes him as:

just a very shy, good kid.

adding that:

There's no way he could be violent

If Lance Twiggs’s account is accurate, it appears that Tyler Robinson revealed his intentions to murder Charlie Kirk in a note left under his keyboard, which he directed Twiggs to over the phone on the day of the murder. In other words, he kept his plans secret, suggesting a calculating and distrustful personality, inclined toward secrecy and control (as future correspondence revealed).
